The theme for this page is temporary! I will absolutely give them their own theme!!!
Okay, so my favorite Korean band that I found through Pump It Up of all places is Lucy, a four piece band formed on the show Superband, receiving second place. Their name comes from the dog that would hang out near their recording studio during the show, which is the cutest thing I've ever heard. Our fandom name is Wal Wals, which is supposed to sound like a puppy barking (that's so precious, I'm going to die!). Their style is described as Ambient Pop Rock because they incorporate sounds like water and bird chirps into their music. Their music is very calming for me, and never fails to put a smile on my face. I could go on all day about how much I love these men and how cute/pure/sweet their music and vibe is! Please support them!
Let me introduce you to the members ^^
Choi Sangyeop is the group's main vocalist and guitarist. His birthday is February 27th, 1994. He was a fellow contestant on Superband but got eliminated early. After the show ended, he replaced Lucy's original vocalist who decided to go back to his original band. Sangyeop is a ray of sunshine, always in a good mood, and has the sweetest voice! He's already completed his mandatory military service.
Shin Yechan is the oldest member, born in 1992 on June 13th. He picked up violin in 3rd grade and gained notoriety for his busking. He's the shortest member, and is absolutely adorable (even if he doesn't think so). He has several tattoos on his arm. He does a killer bird impression and is a violin god. He also completed his military service.
Cho Wonsang is the group's producer and bassist. His birthday is August 15th, 1996. The man is TALL at 6 feet. He loves strawberry and chocolate milk (an intellectual) and his nickname is raccoon. He has a really sweet voice and I wish he would sing more. He came up with the piano intro for Jogging, so that automatically makes him my favorite.
Shin Gwangil is the maknae of the group, born on May 25th, 1997. He lived in Peru for several years and is fluent in Spanish. An ace of all trades, he places guitar, bass, sings, and only picked up drums during Superband. He serves as the group's secondary vocalist. His dream is to tour with Lucy in Latin America.
Please check out their music! Jogging is my favorite Korean song of all time! The highlight of my Junior year has been the times before games where I get to sit in my car and put one of their cds into my radio system. I'd highly recommend listening to them while reading, laying outside, or watching the snow fall. Again, I just cannot stress enough how much I love them, and I hope you will too! Here's a few of my favorites.
